Our definitive focus areas in terms of advocacy are, but are not limited to, increasing the development of housing (of all types), and the maintenance of our existing housing stock; providing for a sustainable water supply in all areas of the County; investing in our transportation infrastructure to support all modes of transportation, but with greater focus being given to those modes that reduce greenhouse gas emissions; promoting best practices in the administration of local government, particularly in the area of economic development and services related to business; contributing to the development of our local workforce through broad-based advocacy and specific project support; developing and maintaining relationships with local elected officials, government staff, and other community leaders; and the preservation of our existing quality of life.
